What to Expect During a Transformational Breath® Session

Curious about Transformational Breath® but not quite sure what to expect?

You're not alone! Most of us have spent our entire lives breathing without giving much thought to how we breathe or how our breathing patterns may influence the way we feel. A Transformational Breath® session is an opportunity to slow down, turn your attention inward, and explore the remarkable connection between your breath, body, and emotions. No experience necessary. Just bring yourself and a little curiosity.

Preparing for Your Session

During your Transformational Breath® session, you will be lying down in a comfortable, supported position, allowing your body to relax as you are guided through the breathing process.

Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows you to breathe and move freely. Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated and a journal to capture any insights, reflections, or meaningful experiences that may arise during your session.

Come with an open mind, a little curiosity, and a willingness to explore. There is nothing you need to achieve. Simply allow yourself the space to experience what unfolds.

Before We Begin

We'll start with a conversation about what brings you to breathwork, health background, what you'd like to explore, and any questions you may have. I'll guide you through the breathing technique and explain what you can expect so you feel informed and comfortable before we begin.

THE SESSION

Each session is a unique journey through the physical, mental-emotional, and spiritual dimensions of your being. While every experience unfolds differently, here's a general guide to what you can expect.

Opening & Invocation | 5–10 Minutes

We begin by settling into a comfortable position, connecting with your breath, and setting an intention for your session. This gentle opening invites you to quiet your mind, turn your awareness inward, and prepare for the experience ahead.

Active Breathing & Facilitation | 35-45 Minutes

You'll be guided through a conscious, connected diaphragmatic breathing pattern designed to encourage fuller breathing and greater awareness.

During this phase, I will incorporate affirmations, body mapping (gentle, consent-based touch of acupressure points), toning (vocal sounds) and movement to support your breathing, encourage emotional expression, and release energy that you may be feeling throughout your body.

This is where the physical and mental-emotional aspects of the practice come together. You may experience a range of sensations, emotions, or personal insights. Every session is different.

Meditation & Integration | 10–15 Minutes

As the active breathing concludes, you'll transition into a peaceful, meditative state, allowing your breath to return to its natural rhythm. This quiet period offers an opportunity for deep rest, reflection, and integration. Some people experience a sense of calm, clarity, or spiritual connection.

Reflection & Closing | 5–10 Minutes

We'll conclude with an opportunity to share your experience, ask questions, and reflect on any insights that emerged. At this time, you may wish to capture meaningful thoughts or discoveries in your journal.

Your breath is uniquely yours, and so is your experience. These time frames are approximate and may vary based on your individual needs.
